From The Press & Journal on Friday, 29 August 2008

Kinross-based conservatory manufacturer Mozolowski & Murray has achieved Investors in People status, with Peter Russian, chief executive of IIP, endorsing the success of the company in attaining this prestigious business accolade.

The company which specialises in the design and installation of high-quality hardwood conservatories and employs about 54 people, set its sights on the Investors in People standard to improve company procedures, maintain levels of good working practice and encourage training and staff development.

With a strong order book to February 2009, the award affirms the strength and quality of the company.

Virginia Murray, Mozolowski & Murray’s sales and marketing director, said: “Not only do customers expect to see a recognition of quality when they buy from us, but we want all our staff to recognise our commitment to being market leaders in our field and work together to constantly improve our product and service. We also felt it was important that we all take pride in the work we do and the part we each play in achieving our success. IIP has helped us put the right processes in place to accomplish this.”

The Investors in People standard was developed with leading businesses of all sizes and is one of the country’s leading business improvement tools, providing a framework for improved business performance and competitiveness.

By encouraging organisations to focus on their return on investment in people, the standard has helped employers to improve their bottom line and deliver tangible results.
