These homeowners had already created a garden area to have a taste of the outdoor life but soon realised they needed a more sheltered environment if they wanted to be able to enjoy their garden whatever Scotland’s weather.

A simple lean-to design with large glazed panels gives unrestrictive views to the garden and snuggles neatly between the two wings of their house. Large bi-fold doors open onto the decking area whilst clean lines and white frames internally and externally ensure the conservatory complements the existing building.

A lovely tiled floor chosen to match the decking outside means that, when the doors are open, the internal and external space become one. The new conservatory is large enough to accommodate comfortable seating and an informal dining area and can be used at any time of the day or year.
