We enjoyed working with your design consultant, a great balance of professionalism, efficient and friendly.

This stunning, beautifully decorated home in Lanarkshire is the pride and joy of our clients who have a real flair for interior design. One thing was missing however and that was a conservatory to make the most of the garden all year round. Now their new conservatory leads from the lounge in order to create a natural link to the outside environment. With a traditional style of property like this one, it's crucial to ensure that any new addition harmonises with existing architectural features. Here the shape of the conservatory echoes the main house's distinctive gable windows whilst its colour picks up the outside paintwork. A dwarf wall in stone matches the existing stone and makes it look as if the conservatory has always been there.

Whilst we are always able to advise on interior details, in this case our clients had very clear ideas of the look they wanted. Astrallaged windows and natural wood finishes were chosen to blend with the Georgian style windows and stripped woodwork in the main house. A natural slate floor reflects light from the clear glass roof so, despite its north facing position, this conservatory is airy and bright even on the dullest day. Comfortable seating combined with a dining area means it's the perfect spot to relax.
