A transformational dining experience

We were asked to design a glass Extension that was entirely in-keeping with the existing style of home but would open up the kitchen to create a larger light filled space, that could include a large dining room and extended kitchen. Our clients wanted a space that naturally flowed through three areas for that sociable living, cooking and dining experience. With a desire to entertain in style, it was important to achieve the right lighting, positioning of key features and overall flow and functionality.

From a relatively dark and narrow space to a luxurious kitchen/dining experience, within just 8 weeks, we had completely transformed the rear of this house and created a bright and stylish room to be enjoyed for everyday living, with guests and for special occasions.

We sourced the same materials and bricks already in place on the property to suit the existing building and removed the back wall of the property to ensure the design could fully meet our clients brief. The entire rear wall was removed and was replaced with a fully glazed elevation and roof allowing the light to flood into this now impressive kitchen/dining space. The lighting creates a chic ambiance with the perfect layout for a seamless cooking and entertaining experience. This Extension has not only transformed our client’s lifestyle but has added significant value to their home..
