Many of our workforce has been with us for over 25 years and as a result have built up a level of experience and expertise that not only ensures you get the standard of product and service you deserve, but that we constantly exceed expectation in customer service, quality, delivery and aftercare.

This wealth of experience is shared with the newly talented professionals who join our team, to not only ensure continuity of quality and service, but to enable them to also be the best in the business.

We are made up of around 60 employees ranging from Directors, Project Managers, Designers and Surveyors to Sales Consultants, Customer Relations Managers and the Technical Experts.  We are friendly, uniformed, professional and ready to deliver your dream project on time and within budget.

Installations Manager

How long have you been with Mozolowski & Murray (M&M) and what is your role within the company?

I have worked for Mozolowski & Murray since the start of 1995, so I have been with the company for over 20 years now. Originally a joiner for a period of 3 years, I went on to become the Installations Manager.

My role includes overseeing all of our ongoing jobs during their construction phase, ensuring all aspects of the process run smoothly and to the standards required. Meeting with clients onsite to discuss their project is also an integral part of my role.  It is important clients are kept informed and are happy with how their project is progressing at such a crucial stage.

I also work closely with the drawing office team, assisting them to ensure the correct details are used when it comes to construction, for example, bespoke roof materials and timbers etc.

Ordering the timber finish kits for the joiners is also part of my role.

If you could swap your job with anyone else’s within M&M, whose job would you want and why?

I think I am quite happy sticking to what I know, however, if I was to pick the guy who seems the most relaxed and stress free in his job, it would be our most experienced painter, Alan Smith.

Pick 3 words to describe Mozolowski & Murray?

Design, Quality and Drive.

What has been your favourite project, day or moment while working for M&M and why?

There are always projects that have the wow factor, so I don’t think I could choose a favourite. What I would say though is, it is such a good feeling handing over a beautiful conservatory to a client at the end of its construction, to see first hand the delight and enthusiasm they have for their new space.

Do you have an office nickname? If so, what is it and what’s the story behind it.

“Wee Dov”. I have always been called “Wee Dov”, even from a young age. I think it might be something to do with my height, but I’m not sure.

Do you recall any embarrassing moments at work? Tell us about one

I wouldn’t know where to start, so I won’t!

If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day and why?

Any one of my two sons, they’ve got it easy.

If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why?

Jim Clark (1963-1965) Motor Racing World Champion. To hear his tales of the amazing races of his time, when it was actually the driver who won the races and not always the best racing car.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Having recently restored a 1973 VW Camper, I enjoy getting away for the weekend and visiting classic car shows.

Name one thing about you that would surprise people.

I have been a World Champion in model stock cars.

We’re proud of our heritage…

Mozolowski & Murray was established at the end of World War 2 by Polish national, Henri Mozolowski. Henri fought with the British Army in Europe and made his home in Scotland after the war.
An electrician to trade, Henri set up Mozolowski and Son. The post war economic boom enabled Henri to significantly expand his enterprise and he was quickly employing a large workforce and building a strong industry reputation. In the 1960s he again expanded his business, adding joinery and general building trades to his Fife based firm. He built a workshop crafting timber doors, windows, staircases and furniture as demand increased and the business continued to grow.

For every structure we build, we donate 10 trees to Scotland’s leading conservation volunteering charity, Tress for Life. So far we have donated 2265 trees!
