Conservatory or Sun Lounge? The difference is in the detail!

Here at Mozolowski & Murray Design Centre, one of the most frequently asked questions is…What is the difference between a Conservatory and a Sun Lounge?

So, we thought we would give you a brief insight into both structures to read at your leisure.

A conservatory, generally speaking, is a fully glazed extension. It can have dado walls or floor to ceiling glass but as we custom build our conservatories, you can combine these elements to achieve the ideal design for your home and lifestyle. Either way, the results will be stunning!

A Sun Lounge, however, is more of a solid structure with glazed walls and usually a solid roof. Adding glazed roof panels is a wonderful way to bring light into a new space and can be designed in such a way that you still reap the benefits of a solid roof structure. You get the best of both!

As industry leaders we are constantly innovating to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our clients on every type of project. So, by combining traditional methods with modern technology, we go beyond delivering just standard product designs and structures, we transform homes, gardens and lifestyles with state of the art bespoke solutions, for any size and location of project, all year round.

If you are looking for inspiration or want to see some of the bespoke projects we have delivered to our clients all over Scotland and the North of England, then have a look through our galleries.

Or, perhaps you might be considering a more traditional styled structure altogether such as an Orangery design…

Whatever your ideas, our experienced and friendly design team would love to hear about your plans and would be happy to offer some initial advice about what might be the best design to suit your home and lifestyle.
